The Psychology & Counselling Imperative
- We need more counsellors, psychologists, social workers to meet the demand.
- Services must shift from large psychiatric hospitals to community-based, person-centred care.
- Telehealth, school counselling programs, early childhood mental health work, and policies protecting people’s rights are no longer optional — they are essential.
NuroSpark’s Way Forward
- At NuroSpark, we believe in action. Here’s how we plan to contribute:
- Scaling counselling services — making emotionally safe spaces accessible online & in smaller communities.
- Training more mental health professionals with practical, hands-on learning to close the workforce gap.
- Integrating mental health into everyday life — with workshops in schools, workplaces, and community centres.
- Advocacy and awareness — pushing for policy reform, more funding, and destigmatizing mental health via education and storytelling.
- Together, with awareness + action + real resources, we can hope for a future where mental health care is a basic right, not a luxury. 🌱
